The Aurora Public Schools Board of Education has approved a charter school application for a grade 6-12 campus to be located in Stapleton Aurora on 25th Ave. between Fulton and Iola streets.
“Set squarely in 1980, Xanadu is cheesy and campy, with a fabulous love story and a passion for art,” says Charlie Packard, executive producer at the Aurora Fox Arts Center.
Voter approval of Aurora Public Schools’ (APS) $300 million bond issue in November has given the APS administration a green light to resume planning for a 6th–12th-grade campus on a nine-acre parcel located on the north side of 25th Ave. between Galena and Geneva streets.
