“Train fanatic,” Cole Diedrich, 4, from Stapleton, waits at RTD’s crossing gate simulator at a Sept. 26 event celebrating the opening of the new Central Park Park-n-Ride. RTD uses the simulator to educate children and others about waiting for the lights to stop flashing and the gate to raise fully before crossing the tracks.

To cut down congestion in the metro area and on I-70 during ski weekends, Ski Pool will provide Chevy Traverses for carpooling commuters who drive at least 15 miles each way to work. Cars can also be used to go to ski resorts.

East Rail Cars Now in Test Mode

The pilot cars (the first four cars of the Eagle P3 order) have undergone testing and are ready for shipment from Philadelphia to Denver. RTD hopes to have an open house for the public to tour one of the trains by the end of the year.
