The Aurora Symphony Orchestra is excited to announce our Open Auditions for the 2017-2018 season! This season will mark our 40th year of bringing great classical music to the City of Aurora and Greater Denver-Metro Region!

Open auditions will be held on the following dates (audition time slot appointment required):
– Wednesday, August 2nd from 6 to 8:30 pm
– Saturday, August 5 from noon to 3 pm

We currently have openings in the following sections:
– All Strings (Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass)
– 3rd Oboe / English Horn
– Principal & 2nd French Horn
– 3rd Trumpet
– Percussion

We also invite anyone interested in being considered as a substitute on any orchestral instruments.

The ASO is a non-profit, volunteer community orchestra. We’re made up of all ages of musicians, students to retirees! Maybe you’re a music pro looking to build repertoire, a music educator, an advanced student, or maybe a business professional or retiree looking for an artistic outlet in a friendly, challenging and positive environment.
