4th Annual Race for Open Space

The Race for Open Space is back and better than ever!
This year’s race features a 5K and 10-Mile course along the Sand Creek Regional Greenway at Star K Ranch in Aurora and registration is now open!
With your registration, you can help us share the joys of running with young people in our community! We are coaching a youth trail running program at the Suncor Boys and Girls Club that introduces the boys and girls to outdoor recreation and culminates in their participation in the 5K at the race at no cost to them. You can make a donation to our youth trail running program and our other programs as part of your registration.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the race go to the Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership to improve, preserve, and promote natural areas and youth engagement with the great outdoors in the northeast metro region.
Join us as an avid runner, casual jogger or walker, or with a group and support youth and open spaces in our community today!
Don’t want to race? We have plenty of volunteer positions available!
