The Confluences 501(c)(3) is hosting their 4th annual cleanup of Clear Creek starting at Twin Lakes Park with breakfast, lunch, drinks and tons of giveaways and contests. And we get to improve planet earth! Family friendly and a lot of fun!

The Confluences (now a fully-fledged nonprofit) is currently pulling together our 4th annual river cleanup (A Cleaner Clear) on Clear Creek in Denver on October 7, 2023, and would love your support.
We clean up a neglected section of Clear Creek every year as our annual event to beautify our local river which provides us with so many recreational activities. We provide coffee, breakfast, and lunch and are accumulating prizes and donations for awards and raffles at the end of the event. Our continued goal with this annual cleanup of Clear Creek is to remind everyone that we all live downstream and to create a sense of pride and community while promoting conservation and local businesses.
The level of trash and debris in our local waterways is downright embarrassing, and pollution impacts the wildlife, water quality, and the beauty of the river and surrounding areas. Imagine if all our waterways became more accessible, safe places for families to fish, hike, picnic, etc. and how that would draw positive attention to our rivers, and all our sacred waterways.
Last year we had 110 volunteers as part of the cleanup, and we are teaming with local like-minded businesses and organizations such as Protect Our Rivers, Denver Trout Unlimited, The Drake Magazine, The Greenway Foundation, Denver Water, Great Divide, Prodigy Coffeehouse, and many others as we can to make it another successful event.
