Dino Stamatopoulos has a long and storied career in television and is coming to Denver Comedy Underground for one night only for stories, Q and A, and music!
Konstantinos Pollux Alexandros “Dino” Stamatopoulos is an American writer, producer, and actor. He has worked on TV programs such as Mr. Show, SNL, Community, Rick and Morty, TV Funhouse, Mad TV, The Dana Carvey Show, Late Show with David Letterman, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
Already known for his characteristically oddball style of humor as a writer on the 1990s cult favorites “Mr. Show with Bob and David” (HBO 1995-98) and “The Ben Stiller Show” (MTV 1990-91; Fox 1992-93), Dino Stamatopoulos turned to more darkly satirical work with his celebrated stop-motion animation series “Moral Orel” (Adult Swim 2005-08). The series, which poked fun at family-friendly shows like “Leave It to Beaver” (CBS 1957-58; ABC 1958-63), ran for three seasons on Adult Swim, all the while earning a small but devoted following.
