A Place in the Sun: The Southwest Paintings of Walter Ufer and E. Martin Hennings

Explore the journey of two lifelong friends and fellow artists who were instrumental in defining American art in the 20th century. A Place in the Sun presents 38 bold, large-scale paintings by Walter Ufer and E. Martin Hennings, who found their niche in the Southwestern village of Taos, New Mexico. The exhibition reveals new scholarship on these two artists, with artworks showcased from 1917 to 1945. This exhibition is included with general admission, free for members and youth 18 and younger.
