Academic Booster Camp for Dyslexia

Academic Booster Camp is for students who struggle with dyslexia. This camp helps kids gain academic skills with support from daily 1:1 tutoring. Kids love it!
Daily activities include:
-one hour of 1:1 reading and writing tutoring session
-45 minutes of guided reading for fluency, accuracy and comprehension
-45 minutes of cursive handwriting and/or keyboarding
-one hour of fun hands-on learning for math fluency, games and arts
Our Orton-Gillingham trained teachers use this approach with kids to boost their current levels of functioning in all academics.
Students are given pre and post tests designed specifically for this camp in order to guide instructional planning.
