Active Minds presents: History of the Atomic Bomb
July 28, 2016
August 6th and 9th mark 70 years since the atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, ushering in the nuclear age. Join Active Minds for a look at the origins and history of atomic weapons. We will discuss the achievements of the Manhattan Project and the subsequent nuclear arms race during the Cold War. We will end with a discussion of current nuclear proliferation concerns. This program is brought to you by the Stapleton Master Community Association.
