Active Minds presents: Olympics
August 11, 2016
This summer’s Olympic Games will be set against a backdrop of concern surrounding the Zika virus and accusations of political corruption in Brazil. Born of diplomatic and political design, the Olympics have always played an important role in international politics. The games provide a stage for both international cooperation and peaceful competition, as well as international conflict and confrontation. Join Active Minds as we explore the rich history of the Olympic Games and how they have been involved in a variety of international political issues over the years. This program is brought to you by the Stapleton Master Community Association.
