An Evening for Sand Creek Greenway

Fundraiser for Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership features former U.S. Senator and Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, plus an announcement about “completion” of the Denver portion of the trail. Silent auction, live music, refreshments.
The Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership is a 501 c 3 non-profit that protects, maintains, and enhances the Greenway, a nearly 14-mile public trail and natural area. Part of the Greenway runs through the Stapleton community and Stapleton United Neighbors (SUN) and SCRGP have established an ongoing partnership for cleanups of the Greenway, which directly benefit the local ecosystem, human health and economy. This event supports the organization’s volunteer efforts, environmental education and outreach programs and other activities of the non-profit. Door opens at 5:30; Program begins at 7 pm. Tickets $25.
