Art and About Tour at the Denver Art Museum

Art & About tours at the Denver Art Museum are designed for visitors with early-stage Alzheimer’s or dementia and their care partners. Experience and discuss art together on a tour led by a specially trained guide.

Tour and general admission to the museum are free for registered participants, but space is limited. Meet on the lower level of the Hamilton Building.
September 13: Whimsical Stories
This month, join us as we explore the metaphors and storytelling found in the whimsical paintings of contemporary artist Julie Buffalohead.

Our Creative Aging programs have been designed for those age 55+ but are open to adults of all ages.
Access programs are supported by William Randolph Hearst Endowment for Education Programs, Nancy Benson Education Endowment Fund, CenturyLink Endowment, James Kelley and Amie Knox Education Endowment Fund, and the citizens who support the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).
