Aurora Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert, Arts for a Better Tomorrow

On Sunday, May 10, 2015, at 3 PM at the Gateway Center for the Performing Arts (1300 S. Sable Blvd, Aurora, CO 80012), the Aurora Symphony Orchestra will present its annual Arts for a Better Tomorrow concert. With guest soloist Eloise Hodges, we will play the Saint-Saens Third Violin Concerto, a melodic impressionistic masterpiece. We will continue our Impressionist journey with Cesar Franck’s symphonic tone poem in four movements, Psyche, based on the Greek story of Psyche in the gardens of Eros. Finally, we will play Richard Wagner’s Prelude to Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg, an overture of great power and beauty.
Admission is $15 for adults, and $12 for seniors and students. Tickets can be bought at the door or online at Blacktie Colorado (https://www.blacktie-colorado.com/online_sales/rsvp_ticket_purchasebt.cfm?rsvpid=7964).
