Ballet Ariel’s professional company and 30 students from the Ballet Ariel School and Lakewood Dance Academy brilliantly perform this eternal classic. Directed by Ilena Norton and Oleg Dedogryuk, Ballet Ariel’s The Nutcracker once again defines the season.
Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score, coupled with festive costumes and incomparable choreography and artistry, create an enchanted world for Clara’s magical journey the whole family will find delightful. Travel with Clara and her Prince through a swirl of Snowflakes to the Land of the Sweets to meet the Sugar Plum Fairy. An array of treats from around the world come together in a delightful celebration to honor the brave Clara with chocolate from Spain, coffee from Arabia, tea from China and candy canes from Russia.
Performances will be December 14, 15, 21, 22 and 23 at 2:00 p.m. and December 20 and 21 at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are $30 for children, $35 for students and seniors, and $38 for adults.
