Ballet Ariel’s Fairy Tale Suite is the perfect one act ballet for young audiences. Each performance will be followed by a Fairy Tale Tea Party where children and parents can enjoy delicious refreshments with the dancers still in costume.
Ballet Ariel’s Fairy Tale Suite is the perfect ballet for young audiences.
This original ballet, developed by the creative team of Ballet Ariel, is performed to the beautiful Mother Goose Suite score and scenario by Maurice Ravel. Children of all ages, and their adults, will be captivated as Beauty and the Beast, Pavane of Sleeping Beauty, Tom Thumb, Empress of the Pagoda and The Fairy Garden come to life before their eyes, and the Prince wakes the Sleeping Beauty with a kiss as Ravel’s spectacular finale reaches its peak.
The three performances of our one act ballet, filled with enchantment are the perfect length for young children. To make the day even more special, each of the performances will be followed by a Fairy Tale Tea Party where the children, and their parents, can enjoy delicious refreshments with the dancers still in costume.
The Fairy Tale Suite and Tea Parties will be performed conveniently at three locations on three afternoons: Saturday, February 8th at the Pinnacle Performing Arts Center, 1001 W. 84th Ave., Federal Heights; Sunday, February 16th at The Schoolhouse Theatre, 19650 E. Mainstreet, Parker; and Sunday, March 8th at Cleo Parker Robinson Theatre, 119 Park Ave. West, Denver. Curtains rise at 3:00 p.m.
