NEW PIECES: PAINTINGS AND COLLAGES
These are works completed in the last five years, mostly paintings in oil and some acrylic ones. The collage pieces are constructed with wood, metal elements with staples and sometimes “found” objects.

SCULPTURES
Many of the sculptures in this show are prototypes for future larger pieces, but some are free-standing for home or outdoor. For a few pieces, I was used a square tube cut in squares, welded together in different ways, a challenge to myself to use a certain form repeatedly but give a new feel and look for each. Some of the sculptures are just fun constructions, with springs and boxes.

THE ROOM OF ANGELS
The Room of Angels is an installation artwork that examines the idea that there are beings who exist between two worlds, never wholly in one or the other. They are foreign yet familiar: angels and immigrants, refugees and spirits in transition.
