Bison, Bombs, and BiPlanes

From the sordid history of Mayor Stapleton, to the stock market crash and the rise of aviation, the Stapleton/Refuge area’s history evokes the KKK, mustard gas, and the return of bald eagles. It’s a compelling story of rebirth and reinvention. Come along on a 5 mile walk where we’ll enjoy some bison snacks and learn about some of the native vegetation along the way. This is a history rich, highly researched, and cultural experience topped off by the chance to see amazing wildlife, including Bison, and vistas so close to downtown Denver.
