Overcoming adversity and financial challenges in her youth to become the wildly successful owner and CEO of Alvarado Construction, Linda made history as the first Hispanic (male or female) owner of a major league baseball franchise—our very own Colorado Rockies—which marked the first time that any woman was involved in a bid for ownership of a Major League team.
