An Evening With the University of Colorado Boulder Trumpets
The award-winning University of Colorado Boulder Trumpet Ensemble will present a recital featuring content originally written for this genre as well as transcriptions of vocal, piano, and orchestral works by composers such as Mozart, Debussy, and Rimsky-Korsakov. Through success at the National Trumpet Competition and Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, the CU Trumpet Ensemble has been a pioneer of chamber music for trumpeters. The concert should prove to be a thrilling and diverse performance and provide a glimpse into the lives of aspiring performers and educators.
The concert is free and open to the public. As of the time of this posting, audience members must provide proof of vaccination at the door (including physical card, photo of card, MyColorado app, or proof of qualification for a booster) and wear a mask throughout the performance. Doors open at 6:30pm.
