Coiled Basket Art Workshop with Elizabeth Morisette

Current exhibiting artist Elizabeth Morisette will teach how to create a basket using the ancient technique of coiling. Using a variety of papers, participants will experiment with texture and color to form a unique paper vessel.
Current exhibiting artist Elizabeth Morisette will teach how to create a basket using the ancient technique of coiling. Using a variety of papers, participants will experiment with texture and color to form a unique paper vessel, much like those on display in out current exhibition, “Touch”. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring papers from home such as maps, sheet music, and wrapping paper.
Class fee: $25 for Dairy members, $30 for non-members
