Join the CJRO Sextet at Lakewood Cultural Center on Saturday, June 4 for an evening of classic jazz tunes featuring familiar standards along with a few fresh arrangements by Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra artistic director, Drew Zaremba. The band is joined by vocalist Marion Powers is an award-winning artist whose dynamic improvisation skill, and fresh and modern arranging style, keep her in high demand from coast to coast. The Sextet, led by Drew Zaremba (Alto Sax); Art Bouton (Tenor Sax); Shane Endsley (Trumpet); Eric Gunnison (Keyboards); Gonzalo Teppa (Bass) and Mike Marlier (Drums). Tickets start at $20.
