Colorado Remembers
May 27
The city of Aurora invites you to the annual Colorado Remembers event for a ceremony celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Colorado Freedom Memorial and honoring those who made the ultimate Sacrifice for our freedom.
Activities begin at 8 a.m. with a free pancake breakfast. The special ceremony and tribute will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and will feature the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard and Drill Team from Washington D.C., along with the Sound of the Rockies Men’s Chorus.
The ceremony will be followed by special tours of the Memorial, the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument and various static military displays for all to experience as we gather to honor, educate and remember. Bring family, and friends, and join as we celebrate those we will never forget.
