Dairy Comedy: Derrick Rush

After retirement from the Navy in 2009, Derrick Rush moved to Denver, CO in pursuit of a new career: stand-up comedy. He’s now a regular at Comedy Works, where he recently took third place (out of 168 comics) in the renowned New Faces Competition.
Jodee Champion, a Colorado native, has performed for some of the best venues in the country, including Gotham, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and is a regular at the Denver Improv and Comedy Works. She’s entertained crowds in NYC, Chicago, LA, Denver, and dozens of other cities. She appeared on the nationally televised stand-up comedy showcase “NickMom Night Out.”
Elise Kerns has been doing stand-up for a little over a year, but has been around it for 29 years, thanks to her comedian father, Rick Kerns. She co-hosts a comedy showcase at Ophelia’s in Denver called Get Thee to a Nunnery and hosts her own monthly podcast, Elise’s Locos Talkos, where she takes an in-depth look at her fierce loyalty to food, comedy, dance, mental health awareness and all things LGBTQ.
