Denver Young Artists Orchestra presents Musical Monuments

DYAO’s Young Artists Orchestra presents Musical Monuments under the direction of Maestro Wes Kenney and featuring internationally renowned cellist Anthony Elliott. This free concert will be streamed on Facebook and Youtube at 7PM MST!
This concert features the music of Johannes Brahms, Edward Elgar, Franz Joseph Haydn, Sergei Prokofiev, and Josef Suk, as well as Oscar Morawetz’s Memorial to Martin Luther King for cello and orchestra. It will also feature the winner of the 2020 YAO Concerto Competition, violinist Jessie Zimmermann.
Established in 1977, the Denver Young Artists Orchestra strives to provide the finest possible youth orchestra programs. Our mission is to inspire and educate young musicians through the performance of great works of music, and to offer valuable cultural opportunities to our community.
