Drop-In Drawing at the Denver Art Museum
March 10, 2020
Join artist Anna Kaye for Drop-In Drawing, a fun and informal creative art session held monthly at the Denver Art Museum. Bring a drawing or sketching project of your own or get started on something new. All ranges of drawing experience welcome!
This month explore “The Light Show” using the “Hayagriva Mandala” as inspiration. A mandala is a geometric design that represents self-expression, personal transformation, and connection. Profound symbols and narratives can be found within their intricate patterns. Create your own mandala with drawing tools to activate your creativity and explore this ancient design.
Drawing materials provided, but you are welcome to bring your own supplies. Please note that only sketchpads/notebooks 14 x 17 inches or smaller, graphite pencils, and kneaded erasers are permitted in the galleries.
Meet on level 1 of the DAM’s Hamilton Building. Drop-In Drawing is a monthly program held on the second Tuesday of every month from 1 to 3pm.
Free with museum admission; no reservations required.
