A new feature-length documentary, “Do Something Awesome,” will premiere on Colorado Public Television (CPTV-12) on Wednesday, November 4, at 7:00pm.
The 30-minute film tracks six students at Denver School of the Arts (DSA) through the 2014-15 school year.

In celebration of this broadcast premiere, the Video Cinema Arts (VCA) department at DSA will be hosting a free “Watch Party” for the community at-large in the Kay Schomp Theater at Denver School of the Arts (7111 Montview Blvd.) on Wednesday, November 4, starting at 6:30pm.
In addition to viewing the film, we will hear some live music by Jon Shockness (DSA alumnus and Air Dubai frontman), have a talkback session with the filmmakers, and enjoy a brief reception to celebrate this major achievement.
The event is free and open to the public.
