East-West Coffee House with the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Trio Arabica

Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra will explore the rich musical history of 18th-century Leipzig and Damascus, reimagining the coffeehouses where the finest musicians of the time played. Mar. 6, 2019, 7:30 p.m., Newman Center for the Performing Arts.
“The East-West Coffeehouse” with Chamber Musicians from Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra will also feature Trio Arabica, with narrator Maryem Tollar.Trio Arabica joins Tafelmusik to perform music from Handel and Telemann to traditional Arabic song in a sumptuous theatrical setting. Concert is presented by Friends of Chamber Music.
