EFW presents two-week virtual film programs for teens. This program centers on film theory with students working collaboratively to create their own films and learning from two renowned film educators, Scott Kinnamon and Neil Truglio.

Developed for teens aged 12-18 as the Young Filmmakers Workshop over ten years ago, these summer programs, now known as Emerging Filmmakers Workshops, provide the opportunity for students to collaborate, refine their film skills, and work with industry professionals all through the art of film. Emerging Filmmakers Workshop is proud to present the first two-week long virtual program of the summer. Students will have the opportunity to explore film theory, learn the fundamentals of filmmaking, interact with industry professionals during virtual visits, and work with other teens to create their own films including writing, prepping, shooting, and editing.
