EFW presents two-week virtual film programs for teens. This program takes a deeper dive into cinema and storytelling with students doing every step of a short film. Taught by renowned film educators Scott Kinnamon and Neil Truglio.

Developed for teens aged 12-18 as the Young Filmmakers Workshop more than ten years ago, these summer programs, now known as Emerging Filmmakers Workshops, provide the opportunity for students to collaborate, refine their film skills, and work with industry professionals all through the art of film. Emerging Filmmakers Workshop is proud to present one of our two-week virtual programs of the summer. Students will have the opportunity to expand their film skills, especially storytelling, working to collaboratively create a short film, including writing, prepping, shooting, and editing. Additionally, students will be able to learn from industry professionals during virtual visits. This specific program is recommended for teens with some prior film experience.
