Get on the Bus! Free transport to Six State celebration to showcase Colorado Culture

The Black American West Museum & Heritage Center invites local residents to sign up for a free return bus ride to a collaborative state cultural festival in Wyoming on Sep 21 and 22 .
Performances by African American re enactors, too!
Booked passengers will join members of the Five Points based heritage center together with their re enactors collective to support Colorado’s representation at the annual arts and culture fair in Laramie, WY.
Other Rocky Mountain states including Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming will also display their own values and interpretation of rural living such as music, agriculture, and food.
The bus leaves the museum on California Street on both days at 7:30 am and returns each evening and offers free coffee and a light breakfast for early arrivals at 6.30am.
The Chair of the BAWM, Daphne Rice-Allen says:
“We’re excited to be involved again this year and encourage people to secure their free spot on the bus to not only experience the wide of arts and entertainment from other States but also watch performances from Denver metro\’s Jane Taylor’s Re enactors Guild portraying Colorado’s own historical figures such as Mary Fields, the first African-American female mail carrier in the country and pioneer Barney Ford”
