Gilbert & Sullivan’s comic operetta “Iolanthe”

Tired of politicians and want to see them get theirs? Want to escape to fairyland? Why not both!
In Iolanthe, Parliament has been taken over by fairies and the Lords are miserable. Effervescent and in good fun, Iolanthe features a main character who is half-fairy (from the waist up) and a cast of dim-witted elite who rule the land. It’s the immortal fairies against the British House of Lords in this satirical musical send up!
