Global Change for Good: How to Participate in Civic Engagement as a Company

September 26, 2018

FWD.us is bringing its local Innovation Council to Denver Startup Week to discuss immigration reform. Learn actions you can take today to support immigrants and other marginalized persons in your company, your community, and across America!

FWD.us, the advocacy nonprofit founded and funded by Mark Zuckerburg and other leaders in tech to work on immigration and criminal justice reform, is bringing its local Innovation Council to Denver Startup Week to discuss the new age of Civic Engagement as an arm of Corporate Social Responsibility. Founders, community leaders, and CEOs will speak on how they’ve moved past rhetoric on immigration reform conversations and are getting in on the action to make change happen, using the FWD.us Innovation Council as a vehicle. They will discuss the changes in immigration policy that are affecting their businesses, how they maximize employee recruitment and retention in these uncertain times, and share real, concrete actions you can take today to support immigrants and other marginalized persons in your company, your community, and across America.
