Hiawatha Davis Rec Center Art Show

On Friday, June 8th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM the Hiawatha Davis Recreation Center Pastel Drawing Class will present its annual art exhibition. The Rec center is located at 3334 Holly Street. Admission is free and open to the public. The artists range in age from 65 to 85. These active seniors come to art class full of energy to produce imaginative and original work. Creating their visions with pastels on paper or sandpaper, they reflect varying artistic experiences. Some have enjoyed a life-long pursuit of art while others have discovered hidden talent when they joined the group. Classes are free and open to adult members of Denver Parks and Rec.
