How to Become a Writer of the Future

On Saturday, 23 April at 2 pm, Writers of the Future contest winner John M. Campbell relates his journey from science fiction reader to award-winning author. This entertaining talk is a free event showing pictures, videos, and the prizes he won.
Along with prize money, Writers of the Future winners receive air fare and hotel expenses in Hollywood to attend a writer’s workshop where they learn about writing and publishing from established authors in the science fiction and fantasy community. At the end of the week-long workshop, they attend a formal banquet and awards gala. Along with pictures and videos of the event, he shows the free resources available for beginning writers to hone their skills. Copies of the Writers of the Future anthology featuring John’s story will be available for purchase and signing.
