In 1992, Colorado voters approved the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR), a constitutional amendment designed to restrain growth in state government. Colorado’s public services have suffered under TABOR. Due
to TABOR’s forced spending cuts, the number of critical public services (like education, road repair, funding for children’s health, etc) have plummeted in the years after it was adopted.
Sharon Caulfield, a noted expert in health care law and attorney with Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck will explain TABOR and what we need to understand about it’s impact.
