Dr. Tamar McKee, manager of the Stephen H. Hart Research Center, will present on the history of city directories as well as walk through various activities and exercises that will demonstrate how directories – particularly in Colorado – can yield helpful clues and context to urban areas, their residents and businesses during specific historic eras.
