Introduction to Etching with Maxwell Roath

This is a two day introductory workshop. On day one participants will go through the etching process including preparing and cleaning a copper plate for hard ground, application of ground, stencil transfer to ground, drawing on the plate, and etching in Ferric Chloride. On day two participants will learn how to set up for printing and create an edition of 8 prints to take home. All materials are included in the price.
