The Brass Department of the Lamont School of Music presents “Jennie’s Concert” as a tribute to all musicians who aspire to those qualities which allow us to be all that we can be.

We experience success when we set our goals according to our talents, look within for the discipline to accomplish our task, look without for someone to champion and support, and give freely of the resulting masterpiece to our classmates, neighbors, and the world. Jennifer Lynn Brown, who would have graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance in the spring of 1998, gave us inspiration to find and use the best within ourselves. She continues to live through each of us as we reach for the stars.
