Professional dance company, Kim Robards Dance, celebrates the rejuvenation of spring 2021 with its production “Through and Beyond” an evening of dynamic and stirring dance works on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at The Hangar at Stanley Marketplace.

The performance will feature critically acclaimed original choreography by Artistic Director Kim Robards featuring her multi-generational touring company in myriad timeless yet relevant works that will uplift and energize audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

The inspirational evening will showcase works ranging from a brilliant male solo to driving full ensemble pieces including Ms. Robards’ multi-cultural “Soul Full” which intertwines Modern Dance with Spanish and Mexican Folklorico. Kim Robards Dance shares the stage in this piece with soloist Jeanette Trujillo-Lucero, Artistic Director of Denver’s premiere Mexican dance company, Fiesta Colorado, and dancers Jose Rosales and Alfonso Meraza Prudente, co-directors of the newly formed ArtistiCO. “Soul Full” melds Modern and Mexican dance forms taking audiences on a heartfelt journey.

This diverse visual palette of dance is supported by an equally engaging and intriguing array of music from classical to contemporary. Audiences will enjoy this concert for its pure physicality and its elevating message of hope.

This production will transport you “through and beyond” the pandemic with a socially distanced safe seating environment in the open, expansive Hangar transformed into a performance space. Masks will be required for all audience members.
