League of Women Voters Denver presents “What Can Be Done about Gun Violence.” Tom Mauser, who lost his son in the Columbine tragedy and Mary Blegen from Colorado Ceasefire, will speak at Montview Presbyterian
5:30 pm coffee, 6:00 pm presentation

The League of Women Voters of Denver “Kicks-Off” this League year with a discussion of “What Can Be Done about Gun Violence.”
Tom Mauser, who lost his son in the Columbine tragedy in 1999 and has worked against gun violence ever since, will present his PowerPoint “Can We Have a Serious Conversation about Reducing Gun Violence?”
Mary Blegen from Colorado Ceasefire, an all-volunteer organization “working for freedom from gun violence,” will discuss Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPO) which enable courts to temporarily prohibit a person from having guns if law enforcement or immediate family members show that he or she poses a significant danger to him or herself or others.
