League of Women Voters Denver Presents: Understanding the Denver Public Schools Budget

Tracie Rainey, director of Colorado School Finance Project, will present background on the complexity of school budgets and specifics on the workings of the DPS budget.
Founded in 1995, the Colorado School Finance Project (CSFP) is a non-profit whose mission is to compile, collect and distribute research-based, non-partisan information and data on topics related to school finance for state and local policy makers.
Ms. Rainey will provide background on the complexity of school budgets and specifics on the workings of the DPS budget. Citizens curious about where DPS funds come from and where they are allocated will find tools to search for answers to their own questions.
