Lecture: A Conversation with Frederick Douglass

October 21, 2014

Frederick Douglass escaped slavery and went on to write a famous narrative of his life. But he was forced to confront prejudice in an entirely unexpected place—among his abolitionist friends. Through force of conviction and eloquence, this anti-slavery leader emerged triumphant. Portrayer Charles Everett Pace illuminates the life and times of Frederick Douglass in a vivid performance.
