Libations for Life

The University of Colorado Cancer Center is pleased to announce the return of its signature fundraising event focusing on cancers that affect women. “Libations for Life” will be held at Mile High Station in Denver.
Guest bartenders from some of Denver’s top establishments will create unique signature cocktails for the occasion. Guests will enjoy entertainment while circulating between the cocktail bars and the silent auction. “Libations for Life” will raise funds for research and treatment programs for women’s cancers at CU Cancer Center.
9News anchor Kim Christiansen is the event’s honorary chair. For years, Kim has supported breast cancer awareness efforts on behalf of 9News. The evening’s keynote speaker is Julie Clark, breast cancer survivor and creator of Baby Einstein and The Safe Side.
Although the funds from “Libations for Life” will have significant local impact, CU Cancer Center’s scientific achievements have a national reach and move the scientific community closer to new, innovative and more effective ways to cure and control cancer.
