Don DiMasi, aka as The Reverend Donny D, guitar and lead vocals, late of Vivid Black. Mike Learn, aka Crusty Hill, guitar builder, world-class artist on bass and vocals, late of The Grind and Lords of Distortion. Tim Elliott on drums and vocals, Tim plays in multiple tribute bands ( Boston, KISS, Styx, Foreigner ). Together they have developed one of the most authentic tribute acts in the region. BROTHERS OF THE SON A TRIBUTE TO LYNYRD SKYNYRDBrothers Of The Son is a six-piece band that embodies the spirit and emotion of Southern Rock, Colorado style. What is Southern Rock, Colorado style? It’s a Western invention. We think it is the mixing of classic Southern Rock attitude with the unbridled ethic of the Colorado music scene as viewed through the eyes of a bunch of Colorado boys (and girls!) that have played together for many years. We strongly identify with the roots of real Country, Rock, and Blues. Influences such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and Allman Brothers drive the twin guitars, keys, and a-rockin’ rhythm section to set the stage for strong vocals. Interludes of acoustic 12-string and country rock ballads round out a really special band.
