Internationally renowned artist Michele Oka Doner works across media including works on paper, sculpture, design, costume, site-specific installations and public art. She will be at the Denver Art Museum for a special lecture on Wednesday, March

Oka Doner is perhaps most well-known for her design acumen as she creates functional objects such as candelabras and tableware that allude to organic forms—from elements of nature to the human body.
Spanning five decades, Oka Doner’s creative output demonstrates her lifelong appreciation for the natural world and her ability to integrate notions of function with beauty.
Doors open at 5:30 pm.
