Make Your Own Stop-Motion Movie with iPad

In this 3-day course, students (ages 7 and up) will learn the essentials of stop-motion animation using LEGO and iPad. This comprehensive course teaches students the secrets of stop-motion animation, and how to bring their animations to life!
In this 3-day course, students (ages 7 and up) will learn the essentials of stop-motion animation using LEGO and Apple products. The course will cover stop-motion basics, story development, scene setting, lighting, camera operations, video editing, practical and special effects, voice acting and teamwork. This comprehensive course will teach students the secrets of stop-motion animation and is a great way for students to learn the art of film making by seeing their animations come alive.
Students may bring their favorite LEGO characters and blocks, but it is not required. We’ll have plenty of LEGO blocks to choose from to bring your story to life!
Students will work in teams to produce a 1- to 2-minute stop-motion video. At the end of the week, finished projects are published to YouTube!
Ages: 7 and up
3-day course, M-W-F, 8:30am – 11:30am.
