Mindful Looking at the Denver Art Museum: 17th-Century Tapestry

August 21, 2018

Slow down and spend time with one work of art each month at the Denver Art Museum. Together, we’ll discuss overlooked details, explore ideas and make connections as we linger, look and discuss.
This month, with teaching specialist Molly Medakovich, meander through the lush, action-packed, animal-filled world of a 17th-century tapestry picturing a forested game park.

Join us on the third Tuesday of each month for a different Mindful Looking program.

Adult programs are supported by William Randolph Hearst Endowment for Education Programs, Nancy Benson Education Endowment Fund, CenturyLink Endowment, James Kelley and Amie Knox Education Endowment Fund, and the citizens who support the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).

Image: Unknown maker (Flanders, Belgium), Game Park, 1600s. Wool and silk tapestry. Neusteter Textile Collection: Gift of an anonymous donor, 1947.57.
