Mixed Taste

Two speakers get 20 minutes each to enlighten you on unrelated topics. After the presentations, ideas start to blend when audience members ask questions. Each event will conclude with an original poem by some of Denver’s best poets.
The popular off-beat series returns this summer with two ways to tune in: streaming online or in person at the Seawell Ballroom. That’s right — we’re back, baby! Two speakers get 20 minutes each to enlighten you on unrelated topics, guest curated by Mixed Taste fan-favorite poet and lecturer Suzi Q. Smith. After the presentations, ideas start to blend when audience members ask questions and anything goes. Each event will conclude with an original poem by some of Denver’s best poets inspired by the evening’s topics.
