There’s no better way to celebrate mom than by spending the afternoon with her learning something new. Spring has arrived and with it comes splendid flowers. In this seasonal floral design workshop you + mom will work with the freshest American-grown flowers, hand-selected for the class. You’ll learn to utilize shape, texture and color to create arrangements that look modern, natural and effortless.

Guiding you through the design process is Jenni Skeen, she recently became the lead floral designer at the Perfect Petal having worked there for the past 23 years. She is also the founder of Goodnight Violet, a new design studio specializing in memorial floristry. Before she embarked on a career in floristry Jenni had a diverse career in interior design, fashion and the ski industry. Her background in the visual arts gives Jenni a unique lens through which she defines her personal aesthetic. She lets the colors and textures of flowers dictate the palette and composition for each arrangement. For Jenni, each design is a new story waiting to be shared.
