Immerse Yourself in a Multi-Media Concert Premiere! Join us for an adventurous CU/Dairy Arts Center collaboration featuring CU Professor and Boulder Philharmonic concertmaster, Charles Wetherbee, in an hour-long concert of four works for amplified solo violin, electronics and visual media.
Experience three multi-media world premieres and one US premiere by composers Nicola Sani (music director of Italy’s renowned Accademia Chigiana), Fuhong Shi (from the Beijing Conservatory), and two Colorado natives—Monica Bolles, and Zachary Patten. Each of the works will explore new ways of utilizing the violin with electronics, including the use of real time feedback loops, combined with visual media created just for this premiere!
